Description:

• The Senior Analyst will lead the development and implementation of `best in class supply chain management analytical practices (sourcing and supplier performance management).
• Conduct complex analysis and provide insight to the labor category team as it relates to key performance indicators, cost savings, business case decision models, process design, implementation plans and external best practice research.


Responsibilities:

• Analyze supplier financial performance.
• Define current and potential supply base.
• Identify new entrants in a marketplace.
• Work with category management teams to develop and communicate new customer and supplier relationship policies and procedures.
• Serve as primary contact to integrate new suppliers.
• Recommend supplier relationship management strategies to category manager.
• Create and maintain supplier evaluation process, metrics and tools.
• Create, distribute and summarize satisfaction survey results.
• Lead supplier qualification.
• Responsible for gathering, analyzing, and reporting findings on category spend data and market research to assist the supply chain team in making strategic decisions.
• Research supply market to identify and understand the potential supply base with supplier cost driver's analysis and trends in the industries.
• Analyze the different options by ease and benefit and provide full market and risk analysis and differences in all covered demand points.
• Remain current in relevant industry trends, market conditions, and informed about key market leaders.
• Advise category manager on supply market trends (key competitor activity, collaboration, risks, and new service offerings).
• Analyze spend, gathering market intelligence and perform opportunity assessments to summarize, standardize and minimize costs.
• Perform in-depth analyses of bid responses and complex market conditions.
• Responsible for facilitating meetings and presentations to senior leadership.
• May develop the planning, organization, implementation and monitoring of management processes, tools, risk, issues, opportunity management and technology readiness assessment of processes.
• May develop analytical tools and numerical modeling of complex operations systems and processes.


Qualifications:

• BS/BA or Associates degree in related discipline required.
• Minimum 5-8 years of Business Analysis experience successfully supporting a large-scale program initiative resulting in operating efficiency, strong risk management, clean data and a set of requirements that will drive end-user acceptance of an automated solution; viable candidate balances strong analytical skills with documentation capability to ensure a holistic view of current and future state are gained.
• Master's Degree a plus.
• Top 5 consulting experience a plus.
• Understands the business and financial implications of new processes and innovations.
• Be willing to learn; adapt to and champion change.
• Have a demonstrated record of driving transformational change to processes.
• Expected to contribute to the continuous improvement of procurement processes.
• Able to work with cross functional teams in different time zones.
• Experience with business intelligence tools in translating data into meaningful reporting for stakeholders.
• The ability to create meaningful and insightful analytics represented in executive reports/graphs.
• Understanding and demonstrated use Vendor Management System a plus.
• Procurement Systems - Understanding and demonstrated use of business intelligence tools (Ariba) and e-procurement and/or e-sourcing systems a plus.
• Demonstrated use of project management skills and techniques.


Typical Training / Experience:

• Typically requires BS/BA in related discipline and generally 5-8 years of experience in related field OR MS/MA and generally 3-5 years of experience in related field.
• Certification required in some areas.
