• Our Purchasing organization is responsible for determining the corporate supply strategy, identifying the supply base, negotiating price and ensuring quality for the organization.
• Purchasing activities may be associated with the design and manufacture of vehicles or may support the organization through procurement of facilities, materials and other services.

• As a Purchasing professional at Ford Motor Company, your work will range from negotiating commercial agreements to planning the logistics of moving thousands of parts and vehicles around the world.


Skills Required:

Potential Assignments Include:

• Core Purchasing, the driving force behind our goal to deliver a globally competitive supply base.
• Vehicle/Product Center Purchasing, providing commodity and program management expertise for products and delivering quality, cost and timing targets at the component and systems level.
• Facilities, Materials and Services Purchasing, responsible for all of Ford Motor Company's worldwide purchases of goods and services other than vehicle component parts.


Experience Required:

• Candidates should have 3 to 20 years of supply chain management or buying experience.


Education Required:

• B.S. in Finance.
• Purchasing
• Procurement Management.
• Supply Chain Management.
• Material Planning.
• Logistics or Engineering.
• Master's preferred.
