• We are seeking a SUPERVISOR, SUPPLY CHAIN STRATEGY in San Francisco, CA.
• This position will manage a team of 5-8 analysts, providing leadership and oversight for supply chain analytics.
• The Supervisor will report to the Manager of Supply Chain Strategy & Performance Management.
Responsibilities:
• SUPPLY CHAIN ANALYTICS LEADERSHIP:
– Manage and enhance Supply Chain Analytics process.
– Provide coaching and feedback to 5- 8 analysts in financial, data, sourcing, market analysis and reporting.
– Monitor and manage supply chain data through various reporting tools.
– Validate cost savings proposed by Supply Chain organization through detailed analysis.
– Provide ongoing recommendations for initiatives to drive greater productivity and efficiency throughout the organization.
– Assess internal and external best practices and research to ensure state-of-art analytics methodology, processes and tools.
• FINANCE AND LINE OF BUSINESS RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT:
– Manage supply chain relationships with Finance and other key lines of business.
– Serve as liaison between supply chain and other functional areas to establish and facilitate a strategic, valued added relationship relative to supply chain cost efficiencies and customer procurement plans. Work with other Supply Chain Directors and Managers to conduct semi-annual strategic meetings.
• MARKET RESEARCH, INTELLIGENCE AND ANALYSIS:
– Manage the supply chain market intelligence program.
– Collaborate with team of Supply Chain Directors and Managers to evaluate macro external and internal drivers for Supply Chain.
– Design methodology, approach and strategy to gather necessary information to evaluate internal/external risks and market trends.
– Provide leadership and training to analysts to fully leverage and utilize existing and new market intelligence resources.
• PROGRAMS GOVERNANCE AND SPECIAL PROJECTS:
– Support manager in managing key supply chain programs and projects.
– Lead key initiatives identified by Supply Chain Leadership team to support continuous improvement of the organization (i.e. lean six sigma productivity improvement projects).
Minimum Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in business, economics, supply chain or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in business, market research or financial analysis.
• Proven strong supervisory experience.
• Strong financial acumen and experience.
• Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Strong attention to details.
• Strong interpersonal skills, a team focus, and the ability to work in cross-functional teams.
• Ability to develop executive-level presentations, documents and summaries.
• Strong MS Access, Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills.
