Description:

• The Supply Chain Senior Financial Analyst reports to the Supply Chain Controller, Finance and Data Integrity and is responsible for supporting the contracting value validation process with regard to financial analysis, reporting and measuring of data/statistics.
• Ensuring the accurate and timely preparation/presentation of reports and data is a key responsibility.
• In addition, this position will perform measurement of realized savings compared to anticipated savings for contracts and will conduct pricing audits for major spend categories.
• This position will conduct forensic audits to ensure Ascension Health is received contracted pricing and rebates.


Responsibilities:

• Support of Supply Chain Organizational leadership with financial analysis, reporting, and measuring of data/statistics.
• Develop support tools using expert Excel and/or Access skills for implementation support, tracking and reporting of performance metrics for facility supply improvement initiatives.
• Conduct forensic audit on key areas of contracts to ensure Health Ministries are receiving contracted pricing and receiving all rebates.
• Lead research initiatives for solution design, project plan development and manage process to timely completion of goals.
• Consult and advise Health Ministry personnel regarding individualized contract impact and serve as an information resource on related matters.
• Assist in development of internal controls and validation of supply chain rebates.
• Develop data collection tools and analytical methodology to use for analysis purposes.
• Interpret data concerning financial trends and economic and business forecasts as they relate to the performance metrics and provide recommendations to Supply Chain Management.
• Assist in the development of project management plans and assist in managing and reporting on progress.


Qualifications:

• Seven years applicable experience demonstrating increasing responsibilities.
• Healthcare experience, supply chain management and/or other similar data analyst experience where analytical and critical thinking skills are considered to be transferable is preferred.
• Masters Degree in business or finance required.
• However, will consider candidates currently enrolled in Masters program.
