Description:
• Develops subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions for the procurement of specialized materials, equipment, and services.
• Prepares bid packages, conducts bidders' conferences, analyzes and evaluates proposals, negotiates subcontract provisions, selects or recommends subcontractors, writes awards, and administers resulting subcontracts.
• Negotiates and coordinates additions, deletions, or modifications to subcontracts.
• Participates with contracts administration and purchasing to develop subcontract policies and procedures.
Specific Job Description:
• Assist in developing subcontract specifications by contributing knowledge of various facets of the supply chain.
• Assist in work statements and terms and conditions for the procurement of specialized materials, equipment, and services.
• Assists in preparing bid packages, analyze and evaluate proposals, select recommended subcontractors by contributing knowledge of either cost and pricing, finance, accounting, estimating and program control (to include managing project budgets and schedules).
• Contribute in writing awards and administration of resulting subcontracts.
• Develops files in accordance with government regulations and acquisition procedures.
• Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

• Knowledge of Global Supply Chain Management, LMAP, FAR, and/or commercial acquisitions.
Typical Minimums:
• Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 3 years of professional experience.
• 1 year of professional experience with a related Masters degree.
• Considered experienced, but still a learner.
