Description:

• The Analyst is responsible for supporting the contracting and value validation process in the supply chain organization with regard to financial analysis, reporting and measuring of data/statistics.
• Ensuring the accurate and timely preparation/presentation of reports and data is a key responsibility.
• In addition, the position will provide appropriate consultative services via written and verbal communications and financial analysis to Ascension Health Supply Chain leadership.
• While this position may have focused responsibilities it will also support any Supply Chain and contract vertical information acquisition activities as necessary.


Responsibilities:

• Support of Supply Chain Controller with regard to financial analysis, reporting, and measuring of data/statistics.
• Assist in the development, tracking and reporting of performance metrics for facility supply improvement initiatives.
• Consult and advise Health Ministry personnel regarding individualized contract impact and serve as an information resource on related matters.
• Assist in development of internal controls and validation of supply chain rebates.
• Develop data collection tools and analytical methodology to use for analysis purposes.
• Assist in development, analysis and evaluation of Requests for Proposals (RFPs), quotes, bids and reverse auction contracting strategies.
• Interpret data concerning financial trends and economic and business forecasts as they relate to the performance metrics and provide recommendations to Supply Chain Management.
• Ensures contract data is loaded in Guidance and available to the ministries in a timely and accurate manner.


Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree is required with experience demonstrating increasing responsibilities.
• Healthcare experience, supply chain management and/or other similar data analyst experience where analytical and critical thinking skills are considered to be transferable is preferred.
