Description:

• Global Product Planning for all commercial and pre-commercial products and facilitation and management of the Sales and Operations Planning process.
• Oversight of Direct management of the warehousing and distribution centers in MA.
• Functional oversight of the warehousing and distribution hubs in Ridgefield, NJ; Waterford, IRL; Haverhill, UK., inter-site product transfer processes and our third party logistics provider relationships.
• Working with the VP of Distribution/Logistics, develop and implement strategic regional Distribution Plans to support uninterrupted supply of product to customers.
• Partnering with Quality, lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of a global cold chain program.
• Integrate the US-based Packaging Engineering function into the organization to effectively provide this function to meet product needs.
• Product management for all commercial and launch products.
• Responsible for overall Operational coordination between all functional areas (RA/CMC, Operations, Quality, Planning, Technical Development, etc.).
• Manage the Long Range Capacity Planning process designed to manage Operational plans to support business needs.
• Drive efficiency within the organization using Lean methodologies. Identify and justify new IT systems to support our future growth and assure compliance with any and all regulatory bodies as it applies to functional responsibility.
• Responsible for leading the Planning and Distribution components of the Oracle ERP implementation and other systems, such as MES.
• Responsible for ownership of Product Supply Continuity Assessments and actions resulting from this analysis, as part of the overall Supply Chain Risk Management program.
• Development of an effective team structure and for enabling the function's employees to reach their potential and to ensure that key personnel are in place and trained to meet business needs.


Qualifications:

Required:

• Bachelor's degree, Advanced degree preferred.
• 15+ years experience in Distribution, Logistics and Supply Chain Management.
• Leadership experience in a regulate industry.
• Experience with LEAN methodolgy.
• Prior Healthcare Industry experince.
• Prior experence with Cold Chain products.
