• This role is responsible for all technical and non-technical Symphony-related training, including system usage, process overviews and procedures within the scope of Symphony Functions in scope include: Finance, Human Resources and Supply Chain.
• Additionally, use of portals, reporting capabilities, and selected IT training may be required.
• The Symphony Trainer Manager reports directly to Sr. Vice President, Symphony and is responsible for training needs assessment, curriculum design, training material development and roll-out for over 120K Ascension Health associates.
• A combination of computer-based training and a train-the-trainer approach is being utililized.
Qualifications:
• Qualified candidates will need to work with an external integration partner on developing overall training strategy and rollout approach.
• Prior demonstrated experience with technical training, preferably using PeopleSoft, is a requirement.
• Candidate must possess critical and analytical thinking, problem solving and project management skills.
• Individual needs to be energetic, flexible and enjoy working in a team environment.
• In addition, the ability to work independently and deliver accurate, clear communication, both verbal and written is required.

Responsibilities:
• Successfully develops Symphony’s training strategy,curriculum, training material, job aids, etc to support the deployment of Symphony across all 67 health ministries and 120K associates in the US.
• Liases with Health Ministry personnnel and Symphony Stakeholders to assure that training schedules are developed across the end user spectrum: executives, end users, superusers, casual users.
• Manages a virtual team that is responsible for preparing/developing training content.
• Manages training environments and data used in training delivery.
• Measures effectiveness of training initiatives and reports issues and results to Program Executive.
• Works in concert with Functional Area Leads, IT Lead, PMO Lead and team members to ensure training aspects and implications are correctly understood.
• Ensures training materials meet Ascension Health standards.
• Maintains training plan within budget.
• Ensures the professionalism, consistency and continuity of training.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Education, Business Administration, or other related field; Master’s Degree preferred.
• Ten (10) or more years of training experience required.
• Demonstrated experience in developing training for large scale, complex ERP implementations (PeopleSoft) preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Significant experience developing training curriculum and content.
• Familiarity with healthcare terminology.

• Basic understanding of PeopleSoft /Oracle functionality preferred.
• Proficient in all MicroSoft Products: WORD, EXCEL, POWERPOINT, and VISIO.
