Job Description:

• We are seeking a SENIOR PROGRAM CONSULTANT in San Francisco, CA.
• This position will provide governance, strategic direction, continuous improvement, benchmarking, performance management and strategy planning support to the company's Supply Chain organization.
• The Senior Program Consultant will report to the Manager of Supply Chain Strategy & Performance Management.


Responsibilities:

• SUPPLIER PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT PROGRAM: Develop and manage the company's Supplier Performance Management Program through a scorecarding process and continuous improvement efforts with suppliers.
• This role will manage the overall governance and consistency of the framework used to manage the company's top one hundred suppliers, with a key focus on the top twenty five enterprise strategic suppliers.
• The Sr. Program Consultant will be responsible for facilitating the trimesterly supplier performance review meetings with supplier executives and business unit officers.
• The Sr. Program Consultant will closely collaborate with Sourcing and Supplier Diversity to implement scorecards, to manage supplier action registers and performance review meetings.
• This role will also be expected to assess internal and external best practices and research to ensure state-of-art supplier performance management methodology, processes and tools.
• CLIENT ENGAGEMENT PROGRAMS: Develop and manage strategy to establish value of the Sourcing organization with key internal clients.
• Work closely with Sourcing Portfolio Managers to manage the Customer Procurement Plan (CPP) Program.
• Engage in cross-functional collaboration with key internal clients in order to better understand expectations and business needs.
• Identify internal drivers, key focuses and priorities for internal clients to facilitate development of sourcing strategies.
• MANAGE SPECIAL SUPPLY CHAIN STRATEGIC PROGRAMS: Collaborate with team of Supply Chain Directors and Managers to evaluate strategic improvements for the organization.
• Manage and lead key initiatives and other projects identified by Supply Chain Leadership team to support continuous improvement of the organization.

• Experience with developing programs, key performance indicators and supplier performance management programs.
• Utility industry experience.
• Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.

• Strong interpersonal skills, a team focus, and the ability to work in cross-functional teams.


Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in business, economics, supply chain or related field.
• 5 years of experience in business, sourcing and/or supplier relationship management.
• Expereince in developing executive-level presentations, documents and summaries.
• Strong MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills.
