Description:

• The chosen individual will participate as an integral member of a cross-functional team assisting both internal and external customers with analysis of supply chain-related data in an effort to develop and enhance all aspects of the supply chain process.
• The individual will interact with both internal and external customers (Marketing, Sales, and Materials) to facilitate the development of supply chain solutions.
• The Sourcing Specialist must be able to identify and understand key measurements, methodology, and systems used for vendor performance.
• The Sourcing Specialist will conduct analysis of data such as, but not limited, to sales data, inventory, order patterns, cubical analysis, shipping lanes, and metrics at customer level.


Qualifications:

• Bachelors or University degree required.
• Demonstrated advanced skills in MS Access and Excel for the purpose of designing queries for reporting.
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
• Proven ability to influence and negotiate.
• Willingness to accept and ability to manage responsibility with minimum supervision.
• Strong working knowledge of systems and order flow process from order receipt to delivery of product to customer, including metrics/scorecards.
• Some travel required.


Preferred Qualifications:

• Consumer Products Industry Experience.
