• The Radar Systems Development Group conducts technical, operational and policy analysis for, and provides technical, operational, and program management expertise to the Above Water Sensors Directorate (pEO IWS 2.0) within the Naval Sea Systems Command.
• The scope of responsibility for tasks and projects supported by this position will increase with demonstrated ability.
• This senior-level position will directly assist the AMDR Acquisition and Program Control IPT lead as required in all aspects of executing a complex, multi-contractor acquisition program with PEO IWS 2.0.
• Serves as key member of contractor support team, working closely with Government program management team members and other team members to ensure efficient, rapid turn-around of required reports, documentation, briefings, coordination of program efforts, and other tasks as needed.
Requirements: (Skills, Experience, Education):
• B.A./B.S. Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or Mathematics and 15+ years experience in administrative and organizational support of Federal Government acquisition programs including the ability to track and display documents related to the Air and Missile Defense Radar (AMDR) Program.
• Working knowledge of the provisions of DoD 5000, as well as experience with DoD correspondence and chain of command, contractual process and requirements, and other technical/acquisition documentation required.
• Familiarity with the QERl Navy POPS process desired.
• Must have extremely strong written and oral communication skills, possess the ability and willingness t o multi-task, and be capable of quickly resolving questions and moving on.
• Must have experience with the MS Office Suite of products (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
• Must be a self-starter with the capacity to work independently and to participate in small analytic teams in a task-driven environment.
• A current or immediately re-instatable security clearance, or the ability to obtain a security clearance, is a mandatory condition of employment.
