Description:

• Leads opportunity assessments to identify sourcing opportunities and guides team to develop sourcing and spend management strategies to deliver cost savings.
• Drive completion of multiple simultaneous projects by proactively considering new alternatives and driving critical thinking to optimize results.
• Owns the day-to-day relationship with IT functional teams and manages the end-to-end process for assigned categories.
• Partner with the IT business partner at the beginning of a project to align on strategies and deliverables.
• Responsible for developing and disseminating consistent updates to IT business partners on project status.
• Responsible for developing a change management plan to support changes associated with each category.
• Leverage external industry associations to benchmark their assigned categories and aligns with IT functional partners on supplier contract responsibilities.
• Manages, develops, and leads a team of Sourcing professionals who work on a diverse scope of complex problems and initiatives.


Qualifications:

• Five to seven years professional experience in strategic sourcing, commodity management, or management consulting.
• IT sourcing (hardware/network/telecom/infrastructure).
• Experience leading a team.
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or finance.
• MBA a plus.
• CPM or CPIM a plus.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite.
• Proficiency with eProcurement software applications.
• Risk and financial modeling skills.
• Ability to interpret and utilize key financial data.
• Excellent planning and prioritization skills with the ability to multitask and maintain by adapting to change.
• Demonstrates skill in planning and leading negotiations and working knowledge of structuring and managing supplier contracts.
• Ability to travel as required to facilitate collaborative opportunities.
• Ability to lead and motivate a staff of professionals.
• Ability to interact with all organizational levels and demonstrate a professional presence.
• Excellent verbal, presentation, and written skills.
• Highly motivated, results focused with a high sense of urgency.
