• Provides complex and occasionally highly complex financial analysis for a financial function or a business, typically exercising a strong understanding of the business to determine the best method for achieving objectives.
• Consults with business leaders to guide and influence strategic decision-making within a broad scope.
• Leads business initiatives, typically leading analysts across multiple sub-functions within finance.
• Identifies opportunities for process improvement and policy development and engages in the design.
• Represents the business unit during cross-regional or cross functional planning processes.
• Provides mentoring and guidance to analysts.
• Ability to influence multiple organizations within a broad scope, typically interacting with directors and Vice President (VP)s.
Supply Chain Finance:
• Supply Chain Finance Analysts provide financial leadership and support to the processes and teams in Supply Chain Operations and Supply Chain Development organizations.
• This includes financial basics (accounting, business controls, planning and reporting), as well as financial analysis and consulting to drive business decisions that enable a world-class cost structure, optimizes shareholder value, and ensure our customer's experience is better than that of key competitors.
Responsibilities may include depending upon job level:
• Leadership of Finance Supply Chain development activities.
• Developing, maintaining, and improving the critical cross-organization linkages and processes to ensure that decisions and actions maximize overall HP returns.

• High value business support & analysis.
• Support continuous improvement in Supply Chain cost and inventory goals.
• Manage, analyze, report, and model the details behind financial statements including: mix, margin, variance, discounts, and go-to-market costs.
• Some of the other specific tasks associated with this position are:
– WW lead on AR payment term changes.
– WW lead for GPS AR cash flows for BU's and HP Legal teams.
– WW liaison for BU historical buy-sell and adv-buy data (spend & sales).
– Transitioned WWGPS monthly PSG rebate reporting consolidation to PSG COE team (Dec FY09) - still overseeing process.
– Manage monthly WW GPS AR segment reporting (PSG, ESS, & IPG).
– Manage quarterly WW GPS Sox audits.
• Manual PO.
• Credit-Rebill.
• RMA.
• Historical Price.
• SO-PO price audit.
• SO payment term audit.
• SAP SOD verifications.
– WW AR escalation point with external customers and HP management teams.
– WW Finance lead for Supplier Risk Review.
– WW lead on quarterly cash improvements.
– WW lead on site-balance activities, includes overseeing CPC monthly account.
• Reconciliation:
– WW liaison for various adhoc issues within BU's.
– GPS liaison for quarterly US balance sheet review with controllership.
– WW liaison for quarterly EFR balance sheet fluctuations.
– WW lead for monthly currency exchange rate upload process.
– WW lead for monthly LSC process.
– WW lead for quarterly E&Y audits.
– WW liaison for HP legal team on all buy-sell and adv-buy activity.
– Manage quarterly PSG AR reserve.
– Manage monthly PSG DSO for PSG SC scorecard.
– Manage monthly PSG Partner Status Report.
– Various WW adhoc reporting.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience Required:
• First level university degree with a focus in business or economics; advanced degree or accounting certification (e.g., Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Master of Business Administration (MBA) preferred.
• Typically 6+ years of experience as a financial analyst.
• Typically experienced in more than one finance function.
Knowledge and Skills Required:
