Description:
• The role of the Value Chain Analyst participates in strategic and operational activities within the value chain to create a competitive advantage and maintain shareholder value.
• Participate in business improvement initiatives and assume a supporting role in the execution of large scale business change initiatives.
• Ability to bring focus to process design, stakeholder management, communications and learning and education within a project environment and support managing transition from current state to future vision.
• Promote an understanding of the need to manage and adapt to change on an ongoing basis in order to maximize business performance and benefits from change initiatives.
• Communicate cross-functionally with business team members and IT staff to assist in identifying and meeting business objectives.
• Strong background in pharmaceutical operations with an overall understanding of supply chain business processes.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Coordinate, monitor and lead cross-functional project teams with a focus on ensuring that key objectives and deliverables are met.
• Promote cross functional process improvement efforts across the value chain.
• Consult with business unit management and staff to identify, analyze and document business needs and objectives.
• Lead and promote various change initiatives as required.
• Ensure that MRP and MRP ll principles and philosophies are practiced.
• Create new policies and procedures for the organization.
Qualifications:
Education Required:
• Bachelor's (BS or BA) degree in business, information technology, science or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Bachelor's (BS or BA) degree.
Experience Required:
• 5+ years project management experience.
• 10+ years experience with a strong background in pharmaceutical operations and supply chain.
• Overall understanding of Teva's or similar business processes.
Specialized or Technical Knowledge Licenses, Certifications needed:
• Proficiency with computers, MS Office and experience with MRP, MRPII, ERP (Oracle), WMS (Manhattan) and MS project preferred.
• Understanding of cGMP and System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology required.
