Description:
• Under general supervision and in close coordination with other sourcing initiatives, lead and/or participate in strategic sourcing projects.
• Lead analysis of internal requirements and trends, external supplier markets, and supply/service chain strategies.
• Lead source selection, negotiation, and implementation to ensure successful transition to procurement processes and relationships.
• Ensure current and accurate reporting of sourcing initiatives.
• Lead bank merger and acquisition assistance for the disposition of agreements and associated assets.

– Effectively develop and apply a strong understanding of each client's business, technical, and financial goals to support balanced and mutually beneficial sourcing business solutions.
– Lead effective strategic quantitative analysis.
– Capitalize on and optimize opportunities for additional value creation, cost savings, risk mitigation, and operational efficiencies.
– Lead economic trend analysis, total cost modeling, operational risk analysis, and target costing.
– Maintain a strong working knowledge of sourcing processes.
– Participate in approved projects and work efforts, providing guidance, assistance, and direction to ensure that all sourcing negotiations and contractual obligations are sound.
– Work closely with the Legal and Human Systems departments to accomplish these tasks.
– Consult with other Sourcing Consultants to review and negotiate contracts in order to avert corporate risk.
– Lead sourcing process improvement efforts and support their implementation and use.
– Utilize technology to improve effectiveness, efficiency, and control of sourcing processes.
– Provide bank merger and acquisition sourcing assistance for the disposition of agreements and associated assets.
Required Skills and Competencies:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field or equivalent education and related training.
• Five years of experience in sourcing or contract management or equivalent.
• Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Strong understanding of contract law.
• Very good PC skills, including Microsoft Office products.
• Ability to travel, occasionally overnight.
Desired Skills:
• Master's degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting.
